Will

Hey everyone!

My name is Will. I have been 24 years (but not going on) in depending on others to prepare meals for me. This is my attempt to remedy those 24 years, or something less, since I really can’t blame myself for not cooking a meal while I was a child.

Anyway, why now? I suppose I’m sick of the Davis cuisine. Although the food here screams, “I’m FRESH because I’m near an agricultural school,” it lacks variety. I’m also tired of spending loads of money on food that I could EASILY… make on my own. I mean how hard could it be?

So, I’ve joined forces with two best friends, in, what I’m sure to be, a painless adventure into the cooking world… I expect we’ll be making world-class food in about a week or so.

Hey!

My name’s Eric. I’m 22 and currently living in Orange County. Wait. Orange County? Doesn’t that place have some of the best local (and pricey) cuisines in America? Yup. It sure does. Too bad I haven’t a dollar to my name! Well, not enough to eat out everyday. Also, I’m a bit tired of the junk food I’ve been gorging on. So how do I reprieve myself of these woes? Yeah, you guessed it….

Just the Tri-tip! This blog will chronicle our growth in the kitchen as we try to better our cooking and preparation skills. I am honestly looking forward to our progression, and I hope that some of you will be inspired enough to don the apron yourselves.

  1. Thanks for stopping by and liking the cherry and nut cookies. I look forward to seeing your growth, in cooking. Great to see two young men cooking!!!!!

  2. Thank you very much for following my blog. If you are interested you can also visit my Facebook, Twitter and Google +.

  3. I applaud the commitment of you both in your goal. A great idea. When I was an undergrad in school, I used part of my student loan one year to buy a small chest freezer as I was also committed to eat well … and more cheaply. Having frozen leftovers was a huge success but it also was my own first independent step to say I wanted to learn to cook … and cool for me. Having a friend with whom to collaborate and learn is going to serve you both well. Wishing you great success and thanks for stopping by….
